Dan Tapia

Litigation Assistant

Background

Dan Miguel Tapia joins Justly Prudent as a Litigation Assistant, bringing several years of immigration law experience and a track record of leadership in high-volume case preparation. Before joining the firm, Dan served as Team Leader of the Packet Assembly team at a leading immigration law firm, where he was promoted internally from paralegal to team leader in less than two years. In that role, he oversaw the assembly of immigration packets for VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, and other humanitarian relief matters, and he developed protocols and quality-control processes designed to reduce errors, eliminate redundant work, and improve case-flow efficiency. Earlier in his career, Dan worked as a Legal Assistant at a boutique law firm, where he handled court filings, file management, and direct client communications.

Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science from the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he graduated with a 9.2 GPA and authored a thesis on virtual reconstruction techniques for traffic incident investigation. He completed his social service in the medico-legal area of the Instituto Federal de Defensoría Pública, supporting the preparation of expert reports for victims of mistreatment and cruel, inhuman, or degrading punishment.

Dan brings to the firm a strong commitment to quality control, organized case management, and effective interdepartmental coordination in service of the firm's clients.
